The Avios Boost
To cut your points spend, use the BA buy bonus:
1. Transfer 25% of your Avios total from your credit card directly to British Airways. For 75.5k Avios, transfer ~19k. Cards: Chase, Amex, Bilt, Capital One, Wells Fargo (all 1:1).
2. Buy the remaining 75% on BA at 1.2p per point (up to 3x multiplier). Buy ~57k for ~$684.
3. Transfer all BA Avios to Finnair Plus via BA Combine Avios. Accounts must be linked first.
4. Book on finnair.com or chat/call Finnair.
Important: Only points transferred directly from a credit card to BA count toward the buy bonus. Moving Avios between programs (Qatar to BA, etc.) does not qualify.
